Who is behind the site
Dwi Taufik Hidayat Founder & editor
Computer science lecturer and PhD candidate researching machine learning. I build the calculators on this site and test every tool I review on a real account before writing about it.
My day job is teaching and researching computer science, which means I spend a lot of time with data, models, and checking whether a claim holds up. I bring the same habit here: no number goes on this site unless I can show where it came from.
What we do
- Free calculators for one decision at a time — what your software stack costs, your take-home pay, when you reach a savings goal.
- In-depth reviews of one product each, written after hands-on use, with dated prices and a break-even calculation.
- Price tracking — we re-check prices and plan limits and note when they change.
What we don't do
- We don't accept payment for reviews, rankings, or "best of" placements.
- We don't publish reviews of products we haven't used.
- We don't give personalized financial, legal, tax, or medical advice.
How the site is funded
Some links to products earn us a commission, some calculators show ads, and we sell a few spreadsheets and guides. None of these decide what we recommend. The details are in our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.
